June 2003

In previous newsletters I’ve referred to visions that I had in the 1980’s. Many of those who are considered sensitives, or psychics have had similar visions, all independent of one another. And many of these visions are consonant with prophecy - whether Biblical, Mayan, Hopi, or Earth Change specialists. I sense another “quickening” with the information starting to flow again. Three periods of time stand out.

In and around 1977 many of us went through a period of awakening leading to major (often uncomfortable and unwanted) life changes. This period of time continued through the 80’s. Lots of channeled information made its way into the mainstream, popularized by people like Shirley MacLaine. Science and God were no longer seen as irreconcilable notions: many physicists allowed for the mystical, as in Rupert Sheldrake’s morphogenetic field or Theilhard de Chardin’s noosphere. It was a period of great hope for the future. But the growth may have occurred too rapidly. There was also a blurring of lines between spiritual thought and materialism, with a focus on “manifestation”. And there was a lot of judgment. New Age thought seemed to preach that if you had a health problem or if your life wasn’t in perfect order then there was something wrong with you. The cancerous growth that appeared in the outer world, as in corporate fraud/greed and unparalleled growth in the stock market is an external manifestation of this way of thinking.

In and around 1989 I sensed a correction, a time when the teachers had to pull inward and evaluate their own states of psychological health and groundedness. As form follows thought, that retrenchment is now occurring in the outer world. There will be much soul-searching about the direction society/government has taken. At this point in time (2003) I sense that the sensitives/psychics/teachers will once again be honored and listened to, and that many are ready to live according to their highest good.

There is a sense of inevitability in the prophecies about the prediction of the “end” of the world as we know it, followed by a long period of peace, health and well-being. Most of the prophecies have pinpointed the year 2012 as the time this will occur/be complete. I have spoken of this current period of time as being the Darkness Before the Dawn.

All spiritual masters throughout recorded history have spoken of the need to choose love rather than fear. What if we made this choice daily, indeed every moment of every day? Perhaps we could speed up this period of time, or at the very least decrease the level of disastrous effects that come about through thinking and acting in a polarized manner. There is an axiom in physics positing that the more apart things are the more alike they become (Bell’s theorem?). As one friend said “Some of the most blood-thirsty people I know are vegetarians.” In psychological terms this process is referred to as projection; i.e. if we react strongly to anything another person does, whether negative or positive, we’re reacting to an unacknowledged part of ourselves (our shadow). This doesn’t mean we should condone or enable behaviors that are unethical or destructive, but the world change that is coming must be predicated on loving action and thought. Otherwise we are simply repeating the 1960’s - cultural revolution motivated by justified anger, but without long-term results. The pendulum will swing back even stronger. We must choose Love, especially when it comes to those we don’t agree with. “It’s All Done With Mirrors”

Much love - Lynn
